LG Esteem hits MetroPCS with 4G LTE and
Android 2.3
It wasn't even a week ago that the most of the
details on the LG Esteem made their way online, and
now all of that has been made official by the folks
at MetroPCS. Available now for $299 after a $50
mail-in rebate, the Esteem is packing a 4.3-inch
800x480 display, 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera,
720p video capture, 1.3-megapixel front-facing
shooter, 8GB built-in storage, 4G LTE connectivity,
and Android 2.3 beneath a custom LG UI. Customers
picking up the LG Esteem can select either a $50 or
$60, both of which include unlimited talk, text, and
web. Additionally, Esteem users selecting the $50
plan will get 90 days of Rhapsody Unlimited Music
for free. The $60 plan includes Rhapsody Unlimited
Music or MetroSTUDIO Video on Demand.
It's
good to see MetroPCS continue to build out its
roster of 4G LTE-enabled handsets with the LG
Esteem, and I'm sure that there are more than a few
folks out there that will jump at the chance to pick
